The highlight of the Scottish Legal calendar, The Law Awards of Scotland awards ceremony, will be held on Thursday 16th September at the Hilton, 1 William Street, Glasgow.
The event attracts the elite of the Scottish Legal industry as well as high profile individuals including last year the Cabinet Secretary for Justice, Kenny MacAskill. Guests attend this annual black tie event to celebrate the accomplishments of those firms, organisations and individuals who have achieved excellence in the profession in Scotland.
Each the year the awards attract an esteemed key note speaker to address the audience and last year this was Clive Stafford Smith from Charity Reprieve who highlighted the plight of the 15,000 held in secret prisons around the world without access to legal advice. We will soon be announcing our keynote speaker for 2010 and you can be assured that they will deliver a interesting and thought provoking start to the evening.
The event is not only a night of celebration but it provides suppliers to the Scottish legal industry with the perfect platform to network with potential clients and those they wish to do business with.
